Friendly family-run pub with rooms - showed us in and left us to our own devices which we appreciated. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable with one double/one single bed. Washbasin in room. Kettle and mini-fridge so we could make tea/coffee. Close to bus route which was convenient for our trip into town.

Bathroom shared with 3 other rooms. When we returned at 1am after a night out the bathroom was flooded where another resident had taken a shower making the floor quite unsafe for me as I am mobility impaired. Toilet paper had run out. Corridor smelt of garlic/curry presumably from use of the attached kitchen. Room only had one double socket, right one of which was loose so the plug kept popping out and we had to unplug the TV/ fridge to put phones on charge or boil the kettle so an extra socket would have been useful. Could have done with a slightly larger shelf as we had to put kettle on floor and my daughter managed to trip over the cable and spill hot water on the floor and her foot!

there's a fridge inside the room. It's economic and convenient.

The twin room is very small. We can only sit in bed. And we have to be careful not to hit our head.

    Very good

Cheap, basic standards met, nice staff, easy access to buses and underground - which also is within walking distance.

Wifi signal weak. But hey, that's a small complaint...

    Superb

Staff are very accommodating.. They walk extra mile for some added services... They were very patient with me as an annoying client.. Hehehe I got one luggage to be delivered from scotland and they kept it securely for me and was even delivered to my room... I also keep on calling the receptionist at non office hours to ask some services to be done for me as I was leaving the country and yet he was so patient and nice.. Overall rate was excellent! Room is clean, u got your own tv, refrigerator, free wifi, complimentary coffee, shower gel and shampoo included at the toilet.. Quiet and comfortable area.. Very accessible also to bus and train station..

    Exceptional

The locals and the bar/hotel staff made our trip most enjoyable. As a totally deaf person, they did all they could to accommodate my needs, such as turning subtitles on in the main public areas. They were a lovely bunch who made my young daughter and myself feel at home. It is easy access to most London attractions via a short bus ride and Bakerloo line going direct to Paddington. A word of warning, the facilities are good but basic, if you are looking for 4* treatment this hotel is not for you, but if you enjoy a pint and a homely atmosphere then do try it, I shall be going back next time we visit.

Having to share a bathroom is not everyone's cup of tea, and the bathrooms are rather amateur diy finished, however they could not be faulted for cleanliness, and there was a plentiful supply of hot water and shampoos and soaps...

    Exceptional

Arriving at the hotel the man on duty was very helpful and welcoming, we asked for direstions and he was able to advise well, the room and hotel accomodation was clean, warm and comfortable. So hard to find somewhere cheap to stay in London, will be remembering this place for next time!

The area itself was slightly unsettling being in th 'Ghetto' area although we had no problems.

    Very good

The staff were very friendly and helpful (especially Daniella). The rooms were clean, and freshly decorated with towels on each bed. Although we had shared bathrooms, they were also clean and bright and i felt comfortable using it. Great value for money!

The location. Not walking distance from the nearest tube station. Also its smack bang in the middle of a ghetto area of london. But don't judge a book by its cover!
